Judy and I extend our sincere condolences to Mary and the extended family in the loss of our friend, Robert. My relationship with him was at one time two-fold; we worked together and worshiped together. Over time, our paths haven’t crossed very often but I have thought of him many times, the most recent being this past Thursday morning as I was running some errands downtown and drove near your home off of Maurice Avenue. I trust that the God you and Robert served will be especially near you in this season of your life. It was a blessing to know him. Because of previous comittments, we will not be able to attend the memorial service. Johnnie Smith

Bob was a very kind, giving, and compassionate person who lived a full life of many different experiences. Now he is on to an eternal adventure; one of comfort and peace. We already miss him in the neighborhood.
