Stella Kirkpatrick, 74, passed away at her residence in Denison on Monday, February 15, 2016.
Stella was born in Denison on February 28, 1941, the daughter of Huley G. and Alma Jewel Moore Sexton. Stella and Bobby Jack Kirkpatrick were married on May 4, 1956 in Denison. She was a homemaker that loved and adored her children and grandchildren. A member of First Baptist Church, she had a strong faith, many friends and was active in giving to others.
Stella is survived by her husband, Bobby Jack Kirkpatrick of Denison; son, Jerry Dale Kirkpatrick and his wife, Susan of Kansas City, Missouri; grandsons, Michael Kirkpatrick and Matthew Kirkpatrick both of Denison and great-granddaughters, Leia Kirkpatrick and Ellie Kirkpatrick.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Kirkpatrick; sisters, Ruby Petty and Evelle Sexton and brothers, Boyd Sexton and Bobby Joe Sexton.
Family visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Serving as her pallbearers are Sam Dolezalek, Louis Dolezalek, Roy Flowers, Bryan Flowers, Jesse Jackson and Brian Lammers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
