Stephen Moser

August 17, 1953 - January 17, 2023

Stephen Jack Moser of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born August 17, 1953, in Denison, TX, to Jack Moser and Betty Sweeney.

Steve was a graduate of Denison High School and attended college at the University of North Texas, in Denton, TX.

Steve was a man of many talents. He was an aircraft mechanic and because of his love of airplanes, he obtained his pilot’s license. Stephen was a nurse’s assistant at Wilson N. Jones and at one time was a Real Estate Agent. Because of his love of music, he learned to play the guitar.

In his earlier years, Steve developed a cancer tumor on his spine, which led to surgery. At the time, his doctors told him that he would never walk again but he overcame this diagnosis.

Steve is survived by his wife, Denise Moser, of the home; grandson, Mikeal Clark, of Pottsboro, TX; niece, Leah Fain, of Denison, TX; cousins, Jimmy and Jannie Allen, of Pottsboro, TX; daughter-in-law, Regina Bell, of Calera, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Ethan Wayne Clark and Jasman Clark, of Calera, OK; stepdaughter, Amy Smith, of Cartwright, OK; stepson, Chris Clark, of Denison, TX and many other grandchildren.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; cousin, Joel Allen and sister, Carolyn Mabary.

A memorial service was held at the home of Denise Moser, from March 12 through March 14, 2023.
