Terry Lynn Armstrong, born on August 21, 1955, in Madill, Oklahoma, passed away on July 26, 2024. He was the beloved son of Billy Warren Armstrong Sr. and Willie Armstrong (Little).
Terry spent much of his life working alongside his father in the radio and TV repair business. He married Katherine Armstrong (Gray), and together they had two children, Samuel Willie Armstrong and David Glenn Armstrong.
Terry is survived by his three brothers, Michael Armstrong, Steven Armstrong, and Daniel Armstrong, as well as his three sisters, Doris, Greta, and Gina. He is also survived by lifelong family friends Steve and Theresa McGowen.
Terry was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Cowboys, Stars, and Mavericks. He had a passion for cooking and loved spending time with his family. Music was a significant part of his life, and he enjoyed listening to Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Known for his kindness and helpful nature, Terry always put family first and never spoke a foul word.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Warren Armstrong Sr. and Willie Armstrong, his brother Billy Warren Armstrong Jr., and his sister Carol Armstrong Bullock.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home, 631 W Woodard St, Denison, Texas.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Fairview Chapel, 1501 TX-91, Denison, Texas.
