Thelma Miller, 83, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 27, 2012.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church. Reverend Michael Mattil will officiate. Burial will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Serving as her pallbearers will be Jason Armstrong, Axton Grams, Alex Grams, Kyle Harvey, Bobby Hankins, Paul Hintz and David Hintz. Honorary pallbearer will be Axton Grams, Jr.
Thelma was born January 27, 1929 in Honey Grove, Texas, the daughter of Paul Julius and Ida Matilda Stoehner Hintz. She attended school at Allens Chapel and Honey Grove, Texas. She and James Dean Miller were married in Honey Grove, Texas on September 17, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2003. She was a homemaker and mother and a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
The family suggests memorials be made in her name to Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Miller and his wife, Janet and Jeff Miller and his wife, Edwina all of Bells, Texas; daughters Jan Grams and her husband, Brian of Denison and Judy Harvey and her husband, David of Allen, Texas; brothers, James Hintz and his wife, Norma of Denison and Clarence Hintz and his wife, Patsy of Blossom, Texas ; sister, Verna Bach of Denison; grandchildren, Jason Armstrong, Axton Grams, Alex Grams, Kyle Harvey, Rachel Harvey, Tiffany Hankins, Bobby Hankins and Lacey Hankins; great-grandchildren, Axton Grams, Jr., Lucas Grams, Reagan Armstrong and Zackary Hankins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; daughter, Beverly Jean Miller and sister, Irma Cope.
