Timothy Lawson Gaither, 50, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his residence in Denison.
Graveside memorial services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Oakridge Cemetery with Reverend Bill Brown officiating.
Tim was born on November 6, 1964 in Van Nuys, CA, the son of Jerry Lee and Amy Lou Terrell Gaither. He graduated from San Benito High School in San Benito, TX. Tim and Barbara Faye Bramblett were married on June 1, 2000 in Denison, TX. He was an auto mechanic and of the Southern Baptist faith. Tim had a passion for fixing cars, enjoyed his music and his hobby of building model cars which was a lifelong hobby. He also had the best offbeat humor that would put a smile on your face and was a kind hearted person to come across. He was a loving husband to Barbara his wife of 15 years.
Tim is survived by his wife, Barbara Faye Gaither of Denison; parents, Bob and Amy Willis of Temple, TX; son, Thomas Gaither of Denison; step-son, Jeff Franklin of Denison; daughter, Tamera Gaither Savoy, TX; step-daughter, Sandra Simmons and her husband, Larry of Hendrix, OK.; brothers, Norman Gaither and his wife, Jan of Trion, Georgia, Alan Gaither of Austin, TX, Kenneth Willis and Robby Willis both of Austin, TX; 7 grandchildren; his father, Jerry Lee Gaither of Van Nuys, CA. and his beloved pet, Prissy.
He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Lawson Gaither, II.Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
