Tony Richard Clark, 81, died at his residence in Pottsboro on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Memorial services will be held at Pottsboro 1st Baptist Church, 400 N. Houston, Pottsboro, Texas, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM . Reverend Josh Burton will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Sheppard AFB Honor Guard.
Tony was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee on May 26, 1933, the son of Edgar Bryan and Rosie Price Clark. He was educated in his home state of Tennessee and attended college in Texas. He married Ann Crabtree on December 27, 1952 in Elizabethton, Tennessee. She preceded him in death on November 6, 2010.
He retired after serving 20 years in the United States Air Force and he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pottsboro.
Tony is survived by his son, Richard B. Clark of Newnan, Georgia; daughter, Denise Moser of Pottsboro, Texas; brothers, Benjamin Clark of Nashville, TN and Louis Clark of North Carolina; sisters, Betty Green and Billie Buckles both of Tennessee; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Perrin Air Force Base Historical Museum, 436 McCullum, Denison, TX 75020.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
