All the times I was at the Bach’s home as a kid, I never saw Verna mad. She always had a smile on her face. I remember us taking a picture of her standing in the kitchen, one hand on her hip, the other holding a broom and smiling. Cleaning was like a hobby to her. She loved it! She kept their home immaculate. I think she was usually cleaning every time I was over there. Verna was fun to be around. She put up with us kidding around with her. She had a quiet little laugh and a very gentle demeanor. She always made me feel welcome. She was such a sweet and humble lady. So many great memories! I know she will be missed by many!
