Vivian Lucille Phillips

Vivian Phillips, 87, passed away at home on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Vivian was born in
Denison, Texas on August 25, 1933 she was the daughter of Robert and Lela {Smith} Blankenship. Vivian married Charles Phillips, July 12, 1952 at Twin City Baptist Church. Charles was stationed in San Marcus, Texas and their life began.
Vivian had a love of teaching and loved all her students. She taught with the Denison ISD and
was an aide at Golden Rule until she retired. Once they retired they hit the road in their RV, she loved
to travel and were members of Thousand Trails.
Vivian is survived by her husband of 69 years, Charles; brother, Bobby Blankenship and his wife, Linda of Denison; daughter, Janet Haggerton and her husband, Jack Haggerton of Cartwright, Ok; son, Wayne Phillips, and Angela Gentry of Denison, Texas and 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be August 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery Chapel at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 Hwy 91 N. Denison, Texas 75021. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Condolences may be registered to www.johnsonmoorefuneralhome.net.
