Wanda Kaye Rowland, of Sherman, Texas, passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 64. She was born January 23, 1959 to Lee and Betty (Boyce) Franklin in Fairford, England.
Wanda was a 1977 graduate of Denison High School and attended Grayson County College, studying business. Wanda eventually started working for Cigna Insurance Company. Throughout her 26 years with Cigna, she had various roles, including management. Wanda loved her family, especially her grandkids. She will be loved and remembered always.
Wanda is survived by her two daughters, Whitney Perkins and husband Steve of Sherman, Texas and Briana McCollum and husband Manfred of Colbert, Oklahoma; Eight grandchildren, Austin, Landrey, Carter, Adeline, Ellie, Maya, Millie, and Marleigh; two sisters, Donna Franklin of Sherman, Texas and Diana Corvin and husband Eric of Clovis, New Mexico; two nieces; and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home, 631 W. Woodard St., Denison, Texas 75020.
