Wilma G. Parton, 97, died on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
She was born on September 28, 1924 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, the daughter of George and Eva (Ferry) Dalton. Her dad was killed in a mining accident when she was five years old. She was a high school graduate and a homemaker. She was cremated and will be interred in Middlesboro, Kentucky with her husband, Tommy who preceded her in death in January 1998 and son.
She is survived by her son, Joey Parton and his wife, Jolene of Pottsboro, Texas; daughter, Christine Parton of Irving, Texas; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Tommy Parton, Jr and Thomas Bradley Parton and daughter, Deloris Ann Goelzer.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
