Wilson E. Brown, 74 year old Pottsboro resident died at Texoma Medical Center on Sunday, July 14, 2013.
Visitation will be 7-8 pm Tuesday night at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Reverend Carl Bilderback officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Flesher, Jimmy Cassell, Ricky Wilson, John Mark Lewis, Ronnie Lewis and Roger Wayne Terry; honorary pallbearer is Joe Wilson.
Wilson was born October 7, 1938 in the Locust Community, the son of Marvin E. “Buck” and O’Letha C. Wilson Brown. He attended Willow Springs School and Denison High School. He married Patricia Sutton on October 29, 1960 in Denison, Texas. She preceded him in death on October 5, 2012.
Wilson worked as a truck driver for Pillsbury for over 30 years and was a member of the VFW Lakeside #7873 in Pottsboro.
He is survived by his son, Richard Brown and his wife, Donna of Pottsboro; brother, Paul Brown and his wife, Karen of Pottsboro and their two daughters, Kelli and Karla; and sister, Patsy Brown of Pottsboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia and sister, Daisana Brown.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
