Bobby Fahey

September 16, 1964 - December 4, 2023

Robert John Fahey Jr, known affectionately as Bobby, passed away on December 4, 2023. He was born on September 16, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to his parents Robert John Fahey and Sandra Murphy.

Bobby lived a life colored by his passions and devotion to his loved ones. An ardent outdoorsman, his heart found solace by the waters while indulging in his love for fishing. He was not only a skilled electrician but also a dedicated coach for youth sports, shaping the lives of many children as they grew. Bobby had an artist’s soul, finding joy in sketching and drawing, all the while serenaded by the tunes of country music.

Among his greatest treasures was his beloved dog Chloe, a faithful companion throughout the years. Bobby’s love knew no bounds, extending deeply to his family.

He is survived by his two children, Justin Fahey of Flower Mound, Texas, and Amelia Severns and her husband Carter of North Lake, Texas; and his grandchildren, Hudsyn and Saylor Severns; his devoted parents, Bob and Barbara Fahey of Pottsboro, Texas; his siblings: Susan Perez and husband Tito, Kathy McKeon, Eddie Wilbanks and wife Jill, and Dennis.

Bobby is reunited in spirit with his birth mother, Sandra Murphy.

His memory will forever live on in the stories, laughter, and the love shared among family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Johnson-Moore Chapel, 511 FM 120, Pottsboro, Texas 75076.

In honor of Bobby’s life, a celebration of his journey will take place, where his joy, laughter, and kind-hearted nature will be remembered and cherished by all who attend. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
