Christine L. (Pitts) Bennett, 80, died at her home in Pottsboro on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
Christine was born in Jackson, Tennessee on September 26, 1938, the daughter of John Calvin and Lorine Bell (Stout) Pitts III. She graduated from high school in Jackson, TN. Christine and Dean Bennett were married on March 5, 1960 in Jackson, TN. She was a homemaker and member of Lakeway United Methodist Church.
Christine is survived by her husband, Dean of the home; daughters, Lisa Simpson and Deana Killough both of Denison; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, J.W. Pitts.
Family visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2018 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Reverend Virgie Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
