My condolences to Earlene and all the Dickerson family for the loss if your father. Clifford was a good man and touched a lot of people in his love for Jesus Christ. Rest In Peace Clifford. I was a member at Emmanuel Street Baptist with him and the Dickerson family.

We were in the same Sunday School class, and I would talk to him sometimes during AWANA nights. He gave Darren a George Mueller book once that he really enjoyed reading. Every time I saw him at the store he would ask about “Poppa” (Darren) and tell me to tell “Poppa” he said “Hi”. Clifford was one of the kindest souls we’ve known. He will be missed but we rejoice for him knowing he is with his Saviour now. Praying God’s peace and comfort over Earlene and the rest of Clifford’s friends and family. – Darren & Carol Jones

Earlene and Family. To me Clifford had such a gentle Christian nature. I always enjoyed our lively conversations, his quick smile and wonderful humor. He made a difference in his journey through this world. I pray for your strength as you deal with life’s most difficult challenge. May the Lord comfort you with hope deeper than sorrow and stronger than death. Sincerely, Mike Crotty

I didn’t know Clifford personally, but I know Kim very well. She spoke so highly of her dad. I can imagine what a wonderful man he was and will be missed by his family. Godspeed!

Mr.Clifford was a faithful servant in Awana at Murphy Church for so many years. Our son had the blessing of being one of his many clubbers. Bronson adored Mr.Clifford and Clifford always took the extra time to listen to him even with his stutter and and difficulty writing. Bronson is a stronger christian for having had Mr.Clifford as a role model and leader. His love and care for every child was evident in his gentleness and patience. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Clifford in Awana for many years and his Sunday morning greeting was always a pleasure. Our hearts go out to those closest to him as they grieve the loss of his presence here on earth, may the Lord pour out his comfort on each of you as he brings special memories of Clifford to you in reminder there is joy to come.

Mr. Clifford was one of the greatest warriors of the faith that I have known. Whether it was his strong dedication to the boys in Awana or his heartfelt prayers at Deacons meetings, you knew that Mr. Clifford walked with the Lord daily. Everyone had value in his eyes, and he made sure you knew it. It brings me great joy now to know that all of those Awana verses have now come to life as he faces his Savior. Praying for comfort for his family and his church family.
