I can remember being at Cindy’s for a “pajama party” the whole house was full! Even the guys got to come for a little while, and then had to leave when it got ‘too late”. I also reameber sharing a day with Cindy and her Mom, while Mrs. Gill made pompom’s for me, I think it was for drill team or pee wee foot ball cheer. Cindy was always sucha sweet person, no matter WHO you were/are. She never met a stranger and would ALWAYS have her “Southern” manners; Love you Cindy.

So sorry for your families loss you were a caring person and loved by many, your students and community. You taught my grandson Chance Heffington in 4th grade math he always said how nice you were and how much you helped him, a lot. Every time I would see you in town you would always ask about Janell and how Chance was doing? We will miss you and your sweet smile. Thank you for always caring. RIP dear Cindy.

I met Cindy a few years ago as she was my sister-in-law’s (Glenda Fairbrother) best friend. Since I am a teacher also, Cindy and I shared stories. She was such an inspiration to me. I loved her straightforward responses to questions. What a dynamic, kind, and energetic lady, teacher, mother, and friend!! I feel honored to have shared some time with this wonderful lady, Cindy Irene Outlaw. Respectfully, Patty Fairbrother Hagar

Cindy, I have know you since high school, and always adored you. I remember the last time we talked, we were at my dad’s 80th birthday celebration at Hagerman Baptist church. We had a long heart to heart talk, I will cherish that memory for the rest of my life. I will miss you as will many others, Donald McElrath

Cindy, what can I say —she was truly a wonderful person, happy go lucky personality, and a true Angel here on earth. Now she is an Angel in heaven. When I was in high school I helped her in her math classes as a teacher’s aide. Her students loved her dearly. Her family and mine were very close in my childhood. I spent a lot of time at her house. She made the Best peppered steak I have ever eaten- which took her hours to prepare and cook–so worth the wait. She was loved by many, never met a stranger, and was a great wife and mother. My prayers to the family and friends during this difficult time. May you have peace in knowing she is in a better place and not suffering. She will greatly be missed. Sincerely, Sandy Brown Stevens

In this world there are people who just pass through this world and never make a difference. As I read the tributes, Cynthia grew up and made a great impact on the lives she touched. I remember her and her brothers when they were very young and never had the pleasure of meeting her when she was an adult. I ran around with Gary in the 60’s. Prayers and condolences to your family. It’s so sad, and shocking, to hear of Cindy’s passing. She always had a smile and was never shy to speak her mind. She will surely be missed by many. And Jordan, you know she will live on in your heart forever. If you ever need anything, or anyone to talk to, I’m just a phone call away. And we are praying for you daily. Darrell & Lisa
