DENISON-
Fay Elrod, 89 of Denison passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at The Terrace of Denison.
She was born on July 11, 1925 in Sadler to Mart Samuel and Ora Mae Nuckles Hall. She graduated from Sadler High School and then married Louis “Red” Elrod on December 19, 1944 in Santa Rosa, CA. She was a wonderful homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Elrod was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 13, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel with Reverend Bob Rutherford officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Louis “Red” Elrod of Denison; daughter, Martha Hovers of Sherman; grandson, Bradley Bellows and his wife, Jennifer of Manassas, VA. and great-grandchildren, Cierra, Blake and Geneva Bellows.
The family suggests memorials be made to ARF house, 3377 Spalding Rd., Sherman, TX 75092
