Frances Marion Farr, 83, of Denison, Texas passed away peacefully on January 2, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Frances was born in Atlanta, Texas & grew up in Dallas, Texas. She worked as an accountant for many years before starting a rental business with her first husband. She enjoyed quilting with her Busy Bee quilt group, gardening, painting, being around animals, volunteering through her church, singing with the choir, & many other artistic activities.
Frances will be dearly missed and always remembered. Frances was predeceased in death by her father William David Manning, her mother Dorothy Marion Manning, her son James Edwin Farr, first husband Joseph Farr, second husband Ransom Cipher, many beloved aunts, uncles, & cousins. She is survived by daughter Marion Cipher & her partner Jordan, son William Joseph Farr, his wife Sabine, & their children Alex, his partner Dominique, & Emily, step daughter Sherri, her son Randall, along with many close friends whom she adored. Frances requested a celebration of life be held at Lake Texoma, as opposed to traditional funeral services. Service will be held at a later date in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the American Heart Association are greatly appreciated.
