Frances P. Ray, 77, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013.at Texoma Medical Center.
Graveside services at Fairview Cemetery will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Pastor Marilyn Wood will officiate.
Frances was born February 17, 1935 in Denison, the daughter of William Garland and Eula Anderson Anderson. She graduated from Denison High School and married George D. Ray on July 14, 1970 in Weatherford, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1972. She retired from Texas Instruments in 1991 after 30 years of service as a line tech. She loved her dog Blondie.
Her friends suggest that in lieu of flowers that memorials in her name be given to the Sherman Animal Shelter, 1800 E. Ida Road, Sherman, TX 75090.
One daughter and one sister survive her. Mrs. Ray considered her family to be Betty Stewart, Carolyn Trevathan and Alyson Trevathan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; son, Robert David Melton and brother, William F. Anderson.
