Helene Weisbrod Ludke, 94, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Denison, Texas..
There will be a double ground interment at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with her husband, U.S. Navy Lt. Commander Willard O. Ludke (Ret.) who died on December 21, 1999. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Naval Honor Guard.
Helene was born on May 24, 1920 in Troy, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Leahy Weisbrod. She married Willard O. Ludke on September 20, 1941 in Rockville, CT. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Middleton of Pottsboro, Texas (email address: txg107@aol.com); grandchildren, Rick Middleton of Dallas, Texas, T.J. Middleton of Jackson, Mississippi, Cory Ludke and Kelly Sykora both of Houston, Texas and great grandchildren, Max Middleton and Parker Middleton both of Atlanta, Georgia, Lyla Middleton of Jackson, Mississippi and Aiden Sykora of Houston, Texas.
