Janice’s life was a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family. She was a workaholic, pouring her heart and soul into her daily endeavors. But her true joy in life came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. She would light up when they were around, and her love for them knew no bounds. Her legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of her family.
Beyond her family, Janice had a penchant for shopping, and she enjoyed nothing more than searching for the perfect items to bring happiness to those she cared about. Her culinary skills were another source of delight for her family, as she would create delicious meals that brought everyone together. The taste of her home-cooked dishes will always be a cherished memory for those lucky enough to have experienced them.
Janice Ann Edwards is survived by her three children, Jon Jason Gear of Plano, Texas, Jami Jill Jones and husband Brady of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Jenna Janae Gear of Garland, Texas. She leaves behind four adoring grandchildren, Nicole Addison Jones, Jon Brody Gear, Nellie Renae Gear, and Paul Ethan Andrae, who will forever carry the warmth of her love in their hearts.
In addition to her immediate family, Janice is survived by her uncle, Don Rutledge, and his wife Sylvia of Austin, Texas, as well as her cousin, Sandra Thomas, and her husband Bob, also of Austin, Texas. Her extended family and friends will fondly remember her kindness and generosity.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, John Adale Rutledge and Wanda Lou Milburn, and her grandparents, William and Thelma Milburn.
A family memorial graveside service will be held in her honor at Fairview Cemetery in Denison, Texas, where she will rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and memories she leaves behind. Janice Ann Edwards will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of love and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
