Jan Williford, 73, passed away at her residence in Pottsboro on Saturday, March 05, 2022.
Jan was born in Slaton, Texas on October 27, 1948, the daughter of F.W. and Shirley (Hargrove) Hall.
She was educated in Lovington, New Mexico. Jan and Richard Williford were married in Ruidoso, NM on February 18, 1983. He preceded her in death. She retired after working as the office manager for Texoma Golf.
Jan is survived by her son, Lance Gruben and his wife, Tiffany of Bedford, IN; daughter, Shawna Ascheal and her husband, Michael of Huntsville, TX; brother, Jeff Hall of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Dee Spradling of Hobbs, NM and four grandchildren, Tyler Heath, Kaci Heath, Logan Gruben and Xavier Gruben.
Per her wishes, Jan has been cremated and the family will have a private memorial service later.
The family has asked, if you wish, for donations in Jan’s name be made to Tribute Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101 or American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247.
