Jerry Clay Livingston

Jerry “J.C.” Livingston, 78, died Sunday, December 09, 2018 at his home in Pottsboro, Texas.
J.C. was born on July 10, 1940 in Stanton, Texas. He graduated May 24, 1969 from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. J.C. followed several other career fields before working as a parole officer, retiring after 21 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He served our country in the United State Army.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Preston Community Church with Pastor Bill Schutz officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Lu Juana Blankenship Livingston of Pottsboro; son, Michael Livingston of Pottsboro; brother, Don Welch and his wife, Jo of Abilene, Texas; sister, Dale Welch of Abilene, Texas; daughter-in-law, Gail Criss of Carrollton, Texas; three grandchildren Brandon, Shelby, Amber and two great grand children Aleda and a baby boy expected in April next year..
He was preceded in death by his son John Criss.
He will be laid to rest in Potosi Cemetery in Taylor County outside of Abilene.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison.
