    says:

Jerry and my mom were siblings and I grew up with the Nicholas family. Though he was 11 years older than I, I still have vivid memories of him as a teenager. He taught me to appreciate Ray Stevens, Roger Miller, Brother Dave Garner, Jerry Clower and most especially, the album “Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music” by Ray Charles. He was a mother’s favorite brother and he will be dearly missed. May his memory be a blessing.–David Johnson

Jerry was truly a remarkable man. He already had three daughters and still was my bonus dad! He welcomed me into his family with love and open arms. He and his entire family have a special place in my heart.

I am so thankful for him and his impact on my life for the 45 years I have been fortunate to know him! I will miss you, Daddy Jerry!:heart::broken_heart:

So many precious memories! I love this sweet family and count them as my own! It seems as though our families have always been connected from generation to generation! Jerry was a wonderful man of God and will be greatly missed by so many! He always had a kind word, a big hug, a warm smile, and usually a funny word or two when we saw him! Much love and prayers for you all!

    says:

Wanda has been my friend for most of my life, and I met Jerry in our early teen years. I knew then they would one day marry. We have been soul mates for all these years even though we rarely saw each other. I love the video of their lives and enjoyed the pictures of family and friends who have loved on them. May God grant peace and comfort during this time of loss. Love you, Mary Williams Caton.
