I met Joe in high school. We dated off & on & were friends. He was always nice & fun. He liked motorcycles. He sat behind me in typing class & I did homework for the other guys who sat around us. Used to go to lunch with his sister, Pat.

To Joe’s family, just wanted to express our sincere thoughts and payers for you all. Joe and my brother Mike Bozarth were best friends in school. We all hung out together. Joe spent a lot of time with our family at home and our family grocery store “Bozarth’s”. Joe was a great friend. We lost touch after going different ways. May you all find peace in the knowledge that Joe is at peace with God. Sincerely, Karen Bozarth Hughes and Mike Bozarth

I had the honor of working along side Joe at Actitech this past year. Matter of fact, he mostly trained me there. I started referring to him as Uncle Joe because he gave me hell often but gave me a wonderful and meaningful friendship. He never judged me and in a odd sense I felt like we had known one another our whole lives. Although we only seen one another at work we would put aside the hectic work situations and chat about love, family, music and movies. He shared so much with me and I would always hound him to go have a beer with me and to hangout. I loved Joe and I’m happy I was able to tell him that. I’ll miss his Mr Kitty stories, photos of his flowers blooming, him telling me what he found in storage, his memories of good family times, crazy Actitech/employee stories and most of all his smile and motivational speeches. Love you Joe and you will never be forgotten <3

It took me awhile to post here . I’ve been trying to avoid this and up until a couple days ago the grief set in full and steady . Joe saved my life . Joe was my best friend . He taught me so much , but most importantly my value and how I deserved to be treated . No one will ever be able to meet the expectations that he set. I’m lost with Buddy. I still want to pick up my phone and call him and hear his voice . He always answered and he always made the bad in my life seem okay. I miss him so dearly. I wish more than anything I could have gone . It hurts too bad being left here without him . I know that is selfish, but I guess I am . RIP Buddy, ChaCha, Chubaka, Joe. I know you will be waiting for me on the other side . I can’t wait to meet your mom and see Pat and Bogey.

I just learned that Joe passed away in May. I worked with Joe at McKool Smith from 1996 to 2003. He was a dear friend and confidant, and an amazing guy who got things done like nobody else could. I have missed him all these years and will continue to miss him.
