LeighAnn Winters, 41, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 22, 2013.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Georgetown Cemetery. Brother Raymond Foster will officiate.
LeighAnn was born on August 16, 1971, the daughter of Thomas Lee and Annette Brown Winters.
She played basketball for Pottsboro High School and graduated from Pottsboro High School after which she attended college. She had worked as a jailer for Grayson County and Cooke County.
She is survived by her special friend, Terah Holley of Denison; parents, Thomas Winters and step mother, Jeannie of Denison; daughter, Haylee Annette Winters of Denison and brother, Tom Winters and his wife, Tammy of Pottsboro.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Annette Winters on July 30, 1997.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to LGBT Equality, 1420 Locust St., Suite 300, Philadelphia, PA 19102-4202.
