Leon Robinson Bell, 90 of Pottsboro passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Plainview, TX.
He was born on February 21, 1924 to Henry Wood and Cardela Mae Harris Bell in Lubbock, TX.
Leon graduated from Lubbock High School. He married Eunice Fay Johnson on July 6, 1942 in Lubbock. Leon served in the US Army in Europe during WWII. He was a Railroad Depot Agent for 41 years with Santa Fe Rail Road. Mr. Bell was of the Nazarene faith and then later became of the Methodist faith, he was also a past member of Kress Lions Club.
A Rememberence Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel. A private burial will be held in Hagerman Cemetery.
Survivors include his Wife of 71 years, Eunice Fay Johnson Bell of Pottsboro; and Daughter, Ruby Fay Bell Teaschner of Dimmitt, TX.; and two grandchildren, Andrew and Terri Beth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joseph Lowell Bell and W.H. Bell; and two sisters, Gladys Judd and Ruby Lemon.
