Linda Jean Bosworth, 69 year old resident of McKinney died on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Medical Center of McKinney.
Family visitation will be Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Reverend Bobby Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery. Her brothers and grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.
Linda was born in Sherman, Texas on June 17, 1946, the daughter of Joseph Edwin and Verla Jean Droegemeier Covey. After high school, she attended Arlington State College. Linda and Stephen Edward Bosworth were married on January 7, 1967 in Dallas, Texas. Her mission in life was to love and care for her family. Linda loved the outdoors, horses, her two dogs, Tex and Maggie and she will be missed by all who knew her. She was of the Catholic faith and worked as a realtor with Coldwell Banker Apex in McKinney.
Linda is survived by her husband and best friend of 48 years, Stephen Bosworth of McKinney; daughters, Shannon Marie Engle and her husband, Robert of Pilot Point, Texas and Kimberly Ann McCool and her husband, Bob of Bella Vista, AR; brothers, Joseph Allen Covey and his wife, Madelyn of Denison and Herbie Covey and his wife, Pam of Pottsboro; four grandsons, Dylan Roether, Chandler McCool, Tyler McCool, Bobby McCool and one granddaughter, Taylor Engle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
