Luz Ovidia Juárez, amada esposa, madre, abuela y miembra apreciado de la comunidad de Denison, Texas, falleció el 10 de noviembre de 2023, a la edad de 61 años. Nació el 9 de julio de 1962, en Chihuahua, México, en el cálido abrazo de Benjamin Juárez y Josefina Carrillo De Juárez.

La vida de Luz estaba adornada con amor, devoción y una pasión por diversas artes. El 23 de agosto de 1991, se unió en matrimonio con José Reyes Peña Ramos, creando una alianza definida por afecto mutuo y apoyo inquebrantable. Su compromiso con su familia no conocía límites, y deja atrás un legado de devoción y cuidado.

Sus talentos culinarios eran reconocidos, especialmente en el mundo de la repostería. El aroma de sus deliciosas creaciones llenaban su hogar y los corazones de su familia. El impecable sentido de estilo de
Luz reflejaba su personalidad vibrante, ya que se enorgullecía mucho de su apariencia. Era una persona polifacética, destacándose no solo como ama de casa, sino también como hábil esteticista. Luz encontraba alegría en el arte intrincado del crochet y se relajaba viendo sus amadas telenovelas, siempre

Luz Ovidia Juárez es sobrevivida por su devoto esposo, José Reyes Peña Ramos, de Denison, Texas; cuatro hijos, Sayra Flores y su esposo Antonio, Amarabi Domínguez, Karen Mushinsky y su esposo Dylan, y José Fernando y su esposa Jessica; siete adorables nietos, Brian Antonio Gutiérrez, Pablo Antonio Flores, Sophia Miranda Flores, Isabella Flores, Iain Allister Mckee, Milan Mushinsky y Lucrecia Madeline Pena. Además, le sobreviven sus hermanos, Benjamin Juárez y Luis Onorio Juárez, y su hermana, Fabiola A. Juárez. Fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres.

Un servicio fúnebre para celebrar la vida de Luz se llevará a cabo a las 2:30 p.m. el jueves 16 de noviembre de 2023, en Iglesia Nueva Creación, 3400 S Eisenhower Pkwy, Denison, Texas 75020. Antes del servicio, familiares y amigos están invitados a rendir sus respetos durante una visita de 5 a 9 p.m. el miércoles 15 de noviembre de 2023, en la Funeraria Johnson-Moore, 631 W Woodard Street, Denison, Texas 75020.

Luz Ovidia Juarez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the Denison, Texas community, passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 61. She was born on July 9, 1962, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to the loving embrace of Benjamin Juarez and Josefina Carrillo De Juarez.

Luz’s life was adorned with love, devotion, and a passion for various arts. On August 23, 1991, she joined hands in marriage with Jose Reyes Peña Ramos, creating a partnership defined by mutual affection and unwavering support. Her commitment to her family knew no bounds, and she leaves behind a legacy of devotion and care.

Her culinary talents were renowned, especially in the realm of baking and pastrymaking. The aroma of her delicious creations filled her home and the hearts of her family. Luz’s impeccable sense of style reflected her vibrant personality, as she took great pride in her appearance. She was a multifaceted individual, excelling not only as a homemaker but also as a skilled beautician. Luz found joy in the intricate art of crochet and indulged in moments of relaxation watching her beloved soap operas, always accompanied by her favorite decaf coffee. Her meticulous nature and attention to detail were evident in all aspects of her life, creating an environment of warmth, order, and beauty. Her departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Luz Ovidia Juarez is survived by her devoted husband, Jose Reyes Pena Ramos of Denison, Texas; four children, Sayra Flores and husband Antonio, Amarabi Dominguez, Karen Mushinsky and husband Dylan, and Jose Fernando Peña and wife Jessica; seven adoring grandchildren, Brian Antonio Gutierrez, Pablo Antonio Flores, Sophia Miranda Flores, Isabella Flores, Ian Allister Mckee, Milan Mushinsky, and Lucrecia Madeline Peña. Additionally, she is survived by her brothers, Benjamin Juarez and Luis Onorio Juarez, and her sister, Fabiola A. Juarez. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service to celebrate Luz’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Iglesia Nueva Creacion, 3400 S Eisenhower Pkwy, Denison, Texas 75020. Prior to the service, family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home, 631 W Woodard Street, Denison, Texas 75020.

Luz will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, nurturing spirit, and the indelible mark she left on the lives of those who were blessed to know her. Her legacy of warmth, care, and creativity will continue to inspire and live on in the hearts of all who cherished her.
