DENISON
Norma J. Allen, 83 of Denison, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Texoma Medical Center. She was born on February 12, 1932 in Franklin, Illinois, to Ray E. and Leta Campbell Hoots.
She graduated from High School and soon married William H. Allen on September 29, 1951 in Franklin, IL. Mrs. Allen was a loving homemaker who was devoted to her family. Norma was a member of First United Methodist Church in Howe, TX.
Family visitation will be held from 7PM to 8 PM, Friday, January 22, 2016 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Johnson-Moore Chapel in Denison. Burial will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Norma is survived by her sons, Bruce Allen (Kathie) of Whitewright, TX, Kenneth Allen (Janice) of Hondo, TX, and Kent Allen (Shawn) of Denison; her daughter, Becky Lay (Leon) of Denison; and sister, Peggy Dowson of Divernon, IL; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 2005, her parents, 1 sister and 1 brother.
