Peggy Gessick of Pottsboro, Texas passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 71.
She was born on March 15, 1952 in Fargo, North Dakota to Jack and Maxine Woodstrom.
Peggy had a wonderful personality that loved to dance. She enjoyed watching football, starting as a Dallas Cowboys fan then later to the Minnesota Vikings. She was a member of the Lakeway United Methodist Church in Pottsboro, Texas. After the passing of her husband, she found happiness again through her church and friends. Peggy loved her family deeply and will be missed by all who knew her.
Peggy is survived by her son, Jake Wagstaff and wife Katrina of Prior Lake, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Taylor and Cole; mother, Maxine Woodstrom; five siblings, Jim, John, Greg, Becky, and Ruth; numerous nieces and nephews; step daughter-in-law; Kat Kellogg; two grandchildren, Kobe and Kiyana; and step daughter, Robin Riley.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Gessick; son, Kris Wagstaff; and father, Jack Woodstrom.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lakeway United Methodist Church, 15015 TX-289, Pottsboro, Texas 75076.
