Ricky L. Wilson, 66, of Pottsboro passed away Saturday afternoon, October 24, 2015 at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He was born February 5, 1949, the son of Raymond Douglas and Myrtle Opal Brown Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Dale, and Jim Wilson, and one sister, Dene Hamby. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cindy Wilson; five children, Stephanie and her husband, Chad Paulson, Scott Dickey and his wife, Melissa, Chrissy and her husband, Kevin Cook, Reeca and her husband, Tyler Huntsman, and Ricky D. Wilson; six grandchildren, Preston, Alexis, Sophia, Ayden, Parker and Lane; one brother, Joe Wilson and his wife, Joey, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, October 27, 2015 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with funeral services to follow Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the White Mound Cemetery in Tom Bean, TX.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the White Mound Cemetery account, First National Bank, PO Box 98, Tom Bean, TX 75489 (903- 546-6275) to preserve the historical rural White Mound Cemetery.
