Wallace "Wally" Grace

Wallace L. “Wally” Grace, 86 year old Denison resident, died on Friday, January 15, 2016.
Wally was born on December 8, 1929 in Wolfe City, Texas, the son of Homer Earl and Frances Thelma Warren Grace. He graduated from Wolfe City High School and attended East Texas State University at Commerce. Wally proudly served in the United States Army and the United State Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Parkside Baptist Church. He retired as a maintenance supervisor for an industrial company in Dallas.
Family visitation with be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Parkside Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Kaufman officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City. Serving as his pallbearers will be Colby Crockett, Cliff Sawyer, Michael Atkins, Wesley Crockett, Randy Atkins, Laramie Crockett and Clark Pollock.
He is survived by his son, John Dow Grace and his wife, Nikki Lynn of Dallas; brother, Jerry Grace and his wife, Evelyn of Pottsboro; sister, Jean Jordan of Dallas; one grandson, Daniel; one great grandson, Jon and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Grace; parents, Frances and Homer Grace and brother, Warren Grace.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
